When assembling my workbench, I ran into snags where my impact driver, even with a 12" extension bit, wouldn't work. I bought this from my local Lowe's, and put it through its paces. It is VERY versatile, and without it, would have been a nightmare to finish my project. I'd have to use a thin screwdriver and it would have just taken forever.

It works just like any other extension, except it can bend and wiggle up to maybe 110 degrees or so. It has some kind of rod flexible cable/rod inside of it obviously so it can still do the tightening/torquing/etc. Don't expect it to be able to go into circles or anything, but expect it to feel very well built, and work in angles I can't think of anything else.

I have yet to use the little handle, as my project was on wheels, but it seems like a decent idea. The only real downside is that since it is able to go into any direction and such, it free spins on the metal shaft part. So you have to have one free hand in order to kind of "guide" it and keep it until it's on the screw/bolt. That's my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I don't even know if you'd be able to build one any other way though anyways.

Regardless, I love this thing and plan on using it a lot in the future. The magnetic quick release flex-torque bit is great too!
